- Charles Beeson-Jones (chairman)
- Anona Cram
- Mark Easterfield
- Jon Green
- Ian Harvey
- Jennifer Parr
- Geoffrey Peel
- Peter Snellgrove Hawkins (deputy chairman)
- Laurie Woolfenden
The Parish Clerk, who is the first point of contact for the Parish Council, is Margaret Starkie. Please see the "Contact us" page for more details.
We are in South Cambridgeshire District Council's area, for which our local Councillor is Robert Turner. Our representative on Cambridgeshire County Council is Nick Clarke. Both attend our Parish Council meetings where possible.
Council Meetings
Meetings are generally held on the first Tuesday of the month. There is no meeting in August. Our venue is the Pavilion on the Recreation Ground. Observers are welcome to attend.
The meeting begins at 19:30 with an open forum, where visitors can raise issues, and get an immediate response from the Council members present. At around 19:45, depending upon the time taken with the forum, the Council meeting proper begins. Typically, we finish at around 22:00, but the finishing time is entirely dependent upon how long it takes us to cover all the Agenda points.
How To Find the Pavilion
Turn off Ditton Lane/Horningsea Road onto High Street, passing the Ancient Shepherds pub on your left. Just before the War Memorial, bear right onto Church Street. Continue down Church Street until the road turns sharply left: on that bend, you will see a wooden five-bar gate in front of you. This is the Recreation Ground entrance. Please park considerately, and don't block fire access to the Rec! After you walk through the gate, the Pavilion is the single-storey building immediately to your left. The entrance is the first door on the left, on the side facing the main Recreation Ground. The Pavilion does have permanent ramp access for wheelchairs.
