As most villagers will know, Fen Ditton is a popular vantage point for viewing the Bumps in June (rowing on the River Cam, in case you were wondering), which causes a big influx of cars every year.

As usual, the recreation ground was opened up as a car park and villagers were kind enough to help by parking there to allow two-way traffic along the narrow streets.

A really big thank you to all the volunteers who helped with laying out the traffic cones, manning the car park and helping to get the traffic out of the village at the end of the event.

A total of £1,626 was raised at the car park, which will help in the running of the pavilion, recreation ground and other village facilities.
