![]() | |
The Conservators of the River Cam will be installing some river bank protection on the banks at Long Reach, where extensive bank erosion has taken place over many years. The works will consist of a number of pre-vegetated coir rolls secured along the bank. The work is being undertaken by the Conservators of the River Cam, with the approval of Natural England, the Wildlife Trust and the Environment Agency. This project will not affect the public access over the meadows. The works will take place in mid to late September and last for only a few days.
