The police have issued the following reports of crimes committed locally:

On 24th April at 07:35 on Newmarket Road Teversham a vehicle pulled into the petrol station, filled up with fuel and drove off at speed without paying. The vehicle was a blue Toyota MR2 GT.

27/4 Criminal damage to a vehicle was reported, Swifts Corner, Fulbourn. This occurred overnight on Sunday 26th April. The vehicle was left locked and secured in communal car park. Offender(s) have smashed the rear windscreen. Nothing has been reported stolen.

30/4 Sometime over the last four days unknown offenders have gained entry to a building site in Granhams Road Great Shelford by taking down the fencing securing the site. Eight pallets of salvaged roofing tiles have been stolen and the glass in a salvaged glass door has been broken.

30/4 A cement mixer has just been stolen from West Way in Meldreth at 16:45 on the 30/04. Two males were seen to drive off in a white Peugeot in the direction of North End, Meldreth.

On Thursday 30th April between 12.30pm and 12.50pm a car was broken into in Sanders Lane, Fulbourn. The front nearside window was smashed and a handbag taken from within.

A barn situated on a farm premises in Newton was broken into overnight of Wenesday 29th April/ Thursday 30th. The farm gate was taken off its hinges. The barn has been entered by cutting the padlock off the door. Once inside a cupboard has been forced open and tools stolen. Copper pipng was also taken. The office area was entered by forcing a wooden internal door, a desk drawer opened and cash box taken. Exit was made via the same route.

2/5 Criminal damage was reported, Orchard Close, Balsham. This occurred between Thursday 30th April and Friday 1st May. A double glazed window was smashed at the rear of the property causing it to crack. No entry to the property was gained.

3/5 Criminal damage was reported, Horn Lane, Linton. This occurred on Saturday 2nd April during the night. A vehicle was parked on the highway in a residential area. A rowdy group were shouting and then the sound of breaking glass was heard in the early hours. It was later discovered that a wing mirror had been broken off.

Six vehicles were broken into at Bartlow on 3/5 whilst the fun run was taking place. The vehicles had their rear windows smashed. At the time of writing nothing has been reported stolen.
