At their meeting on Tuesday, the county council’s Economy and Environment Committee approved a resolution to progress the proposal to build a foot and cycle bridge downstream of the railway bridge on Ditton Meadows. Please click here and here for reports from the Cambridge News.

The county council will be working further on the plans before submitting a formal planning application, which will then be open for comment in the normal way.

Meanwhile, the public consultation on the Chisholm Trail, which includes questions about the proposed bridge, is still open until 30th November. Please click here for further details.
